We are hardly a new business, having started in 2015. However our previous website, which was created when we first started, contained the bare minimum of information. I felt it was time for a redesign to give potential customers a better idea both about the services we offer and the team behind PontK9.
The PontK9 Services
We offer a broad range of services to Cardiff residents. These services include:
- Dog Walking. Our team of dog walkers offers walks to suit all dogs. Whether your four legged friend requires a short 30 minute walk or a long 2 hour adventure, we can help. Group sizes are strictly limited so each dog gets plenty of attention but we also offer solo walks for dogs who need them.
- Dog Boarding. Whether you are going on holiday or have a family function to attend that will keep you away overnight, we appreciate that many dog owners don’t like the idea of using a kennels. Our home from home environment aims to maintain their daily routine as much as possible and includes 2 hours of exercise each day.
- Doggy Day Care. Another very popular service. Some dogs need more that just a walk to break up their day. For those with greater needs who perhaps suffer separation anxiety, doggy day care is a good option. Offering company and the home comforts they are used to, our doggy day care offers 8 hours of attention to your dog whilst you are at work.
- Dog Sitting. Short pop-in visits lasting either 15 minutes or 30 minutes. Aimed at new puppy owners where the puppy is still too young to join group walks. Dog sitting provides a toilet break, feeding and some fuss and attention. Our dog sitting service is also popular with owners that have a dog recovering from an operation.
- Puppy Care. For some owners short pop-in visits is the only puppy care they want or need. However we aim to offer additional services aimed at helping puppies and owners at this very important time. Our free puppy play dates allow your puppy to meet others and learn about play and socialisation. Meeting other locals who also have a puppy can be great for a sense of community and sharing ideas. We are also on hand for advice and tips if needed.
- Pet Taxi. To assist pet owners with local trips to vets and groomers.
The PontK9 Team
We have a great team of pet loving professionals which helps us offer both a wide range of services and to cover a wider part of Cardiff. All of our team are fully insured and security checked and have plenty of pet experience. Most of the team are dog owners themselves. By having a team of people we are able to offer the ideal walker to match your dog’s personality. We are also more likely to be able to offer cover when a team member is on holiday, when compared to much of the competition.
