The PontK9 team of dog walkers offer a reliable and professional Cardiff dog walking service. Based in Pontcanna, we offer both solo and group walks. Walk durations last from 30 minutes to 2 hours, there is something to suit every type of dog.

PontK9 dog walkers are fully insured and dog first aid trained. Each member of the team are also DBS security checked for your peace of mind.

Dog Walking Service

We offer both solo and group walks (limited to 4 dogs). Our team of dog walkers all have plenty of pet care experience. Naturally they are also all fully insured, DBS security checked and have dog first aid training. Living in Cardiff we are lucky to have some great locations to walk dogs on our doorstep that your dog will love. The PontK9 dog walking services offers the following benefits:

  • Regular updates and photos of your dog on walks.

  • Client app to make booking services easy.

What We Expect​

Prior to walks commencing we will ask various questions about your dog’s personality, including if they have any issues with certain breeds. We will also ask about their general health so that we can make sure your dog is joining the right pack to walk with.

All dogs that join our dog walking service must be fully vaccinated, wear secure collar or harness complete with identity tag and must also be microchipped. We will ask you to complete our dog walking contract and if you want your dog walked off lead you will need to sign an off lead disclaimer for our insurer.

Dog Walking
Our dog had become really reactive and aggressive towards other dogs after having been bitten by a dog last Summer. We had resorted to walking him on lead everyday as we were too afraid he was going to act aggressively towards another dog. Dee reassured me that he just needed to have fun with a pack of dogs and that he would start to understand that they were not out to hurt him.
